“The Unknown Order” is the name of the sold-out show organized by singer/songwriter Ari Herstand. Since then, he moved to Los Angeles and became an actor (appearing in 2 Broke Girls and Mad Men and others) and is the CEO of the music business education and artist advocacy company Ari's Take.
The Unknown Order literally meant the bands did not know their play order, as their names would be drawn out of a hat. So, Ari Herstand and His Band started first, followed by White Light Riot, The Alarmists and ending with This World Fair.
Herstand remembers:The show was so buzzed about that it sold out 10 minutes after doors opened and 200 people got turned away.
We garnered major press for it and every band’s visibility amongst the local media community was heightened.
Make sure every event you pitch a reviewer is newsworthy and not just a local 4-band bill on a Wednesday night. Why does your story merit bumping every other music story off the cover? What makes your event unique?

Since the last time I saw This World Fair, Chris now sport a semi-beard.
Toward the end of the set, they took it down a notch and lit candles and did two songs in acoustic style (no heavy drums). One of the acoustic song was that Disturbia song, "Don't Make Me Wait".
Touring was good for them, and listening to Zach (the guitarist) telling about how they loved playing in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
