Flogging Molly & The Interrupters
with The Skints
at Armory
armorymn.com
I may have compared The Interrupters (led by singer Aimee Interrupter) to Rancid… and it’s not a knock against the band. I happen to think both bands are excellent. Like many of you, I was blown away by their single “Fight the Good Fight”, which launched the band into stardom.
The band’s forthcoming album is called In the Wild… fans who pre-ordered the album will receive a digital single “In the Mirror”.
We’re also excited to see that they are co-headlining the summer 2022 tour with Irish punk band Flogging Molly… a band that we’ll never forget we saw for free at the Irish Festival in Aug 2008: “ The real attraction for us was the Flogging Molly show, who actually arrived earlier than scheduled. They were very anxious to get on stage and rock out. And it shows, Dave King came on stage with a pint in his hand, dressed in a suit - and launched into "Paddy's Lament", a very rocking song from their latest album, Float.”
Flogging Molly is enjoying a 20th Anniversary celebration of their debut album Swagger… which was recently reissued with exclusive tracks, an Irish traditional set, a 60-minute video feature, and exclusive merch in a collectible box set.
Finally, The Skints to open. The London “tropical punk” four-piece released their fourth album Swimming Lessons on Mr Bongo/Easy Star. Clash magazine dubbed them as “the torchbearers for modern British reggae music.”
However you cut it: ska/punk (skunk) to Irish punk to reggae punk… you’re getting your money’s worth.

No doubt about it, this is one of the best looking band around. The Atlanta, GA band Starbenders is led by front-woman Kimi Shelter and her her gang of androgynous rockers ( Aaron Lecesne, Kriss Tokaji, Emily Moon). The group formed in 2013 and signed with Nico Constantine’s music label, Institution Records.
Starbenders’ new album Love Potions is out now on Sumerian Records.
