Celtic Woman was promoting Home for Christmas last year, but something must have happened because their show in Minneapolis was postponed until now. Perhaps the group agreed that they would rather be 'home for Christmas'.
The good news is now that Spring is here, the all-female Irish ensemble is currently taking their beautiful New Age/Celtic Folk music on a world tour this year - stopping by Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theatre this Saturday, April 13th.
I haven't actually kept on the latest Celtic Woman news, but I am expecting the current four vocalists (Chloë Agnew, Lisa Lambe, Susan McFadden, and Máiréad Nesbitt) and wondering if Méav Nà Mhaolchatha will be on this 2013 tour. Mhaolchatha left the group five years ago, but returned last year to record Home for Christmas. Of course, I don't expect them to actually do holiday songs, especially since we're well past Christmas.
