Local band American Scarecrows is celebrating their 10 year anniversary of their record Yesteryear.
Of course, we were there for them, 10 years ago, catching the group in Oct 2014 and writing, “The first of four bands, American Scarecrows drew in a lot of local supports from their fans, friends and family. Their brief set included tracks from their latest Yesteryear and their debut album Keep Your Devils Around. The full setlist: "Outskirts (Buried in the Sound)", "Depending On The Weather", "Cannon Canyon", "Gods of the West", "The Peak", "Cheshire", and "Stay The Same".”

The ever-evolving, genre-bending, India-based project Peter Cat Recording Co. is touring in support of Beta. The group was previously in town on May 7, 2023: “Originally booked at the 7th Street Entry, this upcoming Peter Cat Recording Co. (not to be confused with Glasgow’s Peter Cat aka Graham Gillespie) show has been upgraded to the Fine Line. All tickets purchased for the Entry show will be honored at the Fine Line.”
The band is currently Suryakant Sawhney on vocals and guitars, Karan Singh on drums, Dhruv Bhola on bass and samples, Rohit Gupta on keys, horns and woodwind, and Kartik Sundareshan on guitars, horns and woodwind.
