Riot grrrls/girl grunge band
L7 is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough third album
Bricks Are Heavy with a special tour.
The tour kicks off Oct 3… and will stop in at First Avenue on October 17th.
What you can expect is that the band will play the entire record from start to finish. If you love the record, this is the must-see show of the year.
You can also pick up the
Bricks Are Heavy reissue from Licorice Pizza Records… set to release later this month.
Fea will be opening the Minneapolis show.

On the album release, vocalist Matt Flegel says “I’m certain that I’ve been writing about the same bleak things over and over again throughout the lifespan of Preoccupations. This time around the themes of isolation, anxiety, trepidation, imminent self-annihilation, fear of totalitarianism, and general malaise unintentionally all feel a little more relevant than they have in the past.
