Go, Johnny, Go! Sure, as Johnny Marr readies for his upcoming USA 2013 tour, he wins this year's NME's Godlike Genius Award. No big deal, just another day in the Marr universe.
Johnny Marr is on the cover of the latest print edition of NME (16 Feb 2013), the magazine is on newsstand in the UK now.
You can preview the issue on issuu.com
NME describes the issue as:
This year's Godlike Genius Award goes to the man whose guitar skills redefined indie music forever. Full interview with Marr himself where he reflects on his entire career, looks to the future, has a pop at the government and settles the score on The Smiths reunion rumours, for now...

Loaded's latest issue (March 2013) featured Johnny Marr, but their February 2013 clearly shows Morrissey's head under a naked woman on its cover. As I have previously mentioned, this is a lad's mag.
Here is how Loaded describe the Feb issue:

In Mojo's previous magazine (cover date: February 2013), Johnny Marr is on its cover - along with a special CD called "Marr and Friends". Over the years of buying import magazines, my favorite has always been Select… but after their death, I've really come around to really loving Mojo.
Excerpt of the issue's description:
FREE CD! MARR AND FRIENDS: A celebration of Johnny’s genius by Edwyn Collins, John Frusciante, Sandie Shaw, Beth Orton, The Cribs, Modest Mouse, The The & more...
JOHNNY MARR: Can the Smiths genius, solo at last, out-sprint the shadow of the ’80s greatest band? And what’s the truth about The The and the tomatoes? Plus: tributes by Noel Gallagher, Radiohead, and more.

Finally, not to be outdone, Q Magazine's March 2013 issue put Morrissey (circa 1986-era) photo with the captions "The Ten Greatest Gigs... Of All Time". Then on the lower corner, we also see a modern Johnny Marr answering questions "for cash". Is this a new thing? Do fans send in money to have their heroes answer their questions? And if that's true, why would you ask "What did Morrissey’s teenage bedroom smell like?" Trust me, no one wants to know.
Excerpt of the issue's description:
Plus Johnny Marr, Kraftwerk, Jake Bugg, David Bowie & more
The ten big questions answered by the new issue of Q:
