Electro-pop duo CHERUB is back in town, currently on their "...Still DTF? Tour". In addition to the two key band members, Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber, they’ll be getting help with producer Nick Curtis on drums and Jordan Bartlett on guitar and keys. The series of exclusive dates will run through the month of February, and the guys will be joined by their friends Gibbz and Mike Floss in all cities.
NOTE: If you can’t make it on Saturday, they’ve also booked a Friday show as well!

Prog rockers Coheed and Cambria is currently touring in support of The Color Before the Sun, released last October 16, 2015, on 300 Entertainment. This album marks the band’s first non-conceptual album to date and their 6th consecutive Top 10 Billboard charting album, and their third to debut at #5 on the Billboard top current chart with 32,000 units sold.
The “The Color Before The Sun Tour” also includes Glassjaw, Silver Snakes, and I the Mighty. The latter band, I the Mighty, is from San Francisco and previously headlined their shows with Silver Snakes. I the Mighty have built up an impressive following since their inception in 2007; currently touring for their sophomore album Connector (Equal Vision Records).

The extremely popular band has already sold out many of their US appearances, including this upcoming Minneapolis show.
Other animal band Ratking opens on the first half of the tour, while GFOTY (Polly-Louisa Salmon, the “Girlfriend of the Year”) joins them in the UK... and finally Synthesist Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith will tour on the remaining US dates. Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith has shared the epic “Existence In The Unfurling” this morning via NPR. The expansive song pulls together various aspects of her sonic arsenal, from gently pulsing arpeggiations to gentle drifts of sound that build to a mesmerizing climax of interlocking patterns of synth, sax, clarinet and flute. Immerse yourself in the colorful world that Kaitlyn conjures below. Look for Smith’s EARS on Western Vinyl and iTunes soon.
