Los Angeles psych band Meatbodies (featuring Chad Ubovich of Ty Segall’s band Fuzz) is currently on tour in support of their sophomore album Alice (In The Red Records).
The T.Rex-influenced band will be stopping by the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis next week (June 17th). Local bands Real Numbers and The Coax will open.

Chicago’s Meat Wave just announced their August tour last week. They will be bringing Rad Payoff (previously on tour with Meat Wave in February 2016) and Dasher on tour.
Dasher also recently announced their debut album Sodium, out July 14th on Jagjaguwar. The trio (drummer/vocalist Kylee Kimbrough and completed by guitarist Derek McCain and bassist Gary Marra) said they were influenced by latter-day post-punk and a “Ramones party dream”. Let’s hope one day they team up with Dancer and Prancer from Seattle.

Swindon’s Meat Beat Manifesto (shortened as Meat Beat or MBM) just enjoyed a fun 2016 tour with The Orb.
If you know anything about electronic music, these guys (Jack Dangers and Jonny Stephens) were huge back in the days, standing up there with such acts as NIN, The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy.
MBM will be on the headliner at the Cold Waves Festival‚Äé on Saturday, November 11th at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles. Wow, remember MC 900 Ft Jesus (If only I had a brain!)?
