Remember about our Podcast? I just finished editing a new one with the new mic, and I have to say the mic-thing isn't working out so hot. You can barely hear me, and I just realize how noisy my monster computer is (it has a ton of fans!)
There is only one topic on #17, which are excerpts from an interview with LittleHorse, a band that we featured a while back. The whole interview is quite long, and I apologize for cutting more than half of the interview, but I'm trying to keep the podcast to under 10 minutes.
Some of the interviews that I had to leave on the cutting floor was that they mentioned that Strangers In The Valley (2007) took them five years to record. Also that their first records were The Beatles and Mister B (boogie!)
They also really really love the band Jellyfish.
Let me know if you enjoy this new format, instead of having three topics, we're just focusing on one topic.
During the editing of the show, I fell in love with their song "Tell Me What You'd Say (2007 Remake)", which suspiciously sounds very Ben Folds-ish.
Anyroad, my next podcast, I'm trying to shoot for January 26th.
Love in October's debut CD, Pontus, The Devil, And Me, which will be released on January 22nd.
CMJ and Alternative Press have already weighed in on the album, and Kerrang!, Spin, and Paste will be publishing reviews soon, as well. The band was selected as Spin.com’s Band of the Day today. You can check it out at www.spin.com/features.CD Release Show

Speaking of January 26th, remember Love in October? They have a CD-release party on that date (you can find out more details on press.weheartmusic.com). Apparently their debut album is called Pontus, The Devil, And Me and it will be released tomorrow.
The album is getting some good press, but I'm kind of sad that I don't have the album to review :/
It's okay I'm really busy with many, many other albums and also harrassing my other writers to turn in their review assigments.
