Remember how we talked about the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 shows in April 2017? Well you can experience MST3K live, in person, for yourself at the State Theatre this Friday, August 4th.

Since it’s taking place in Minneapolis, expect some surprise guests, such as Har Mar Superstar! At least, let’s hope!

There are two showings, a 7pm for “Eegah”, and a 10pm show for “Secret Surprise Film!”

Blues, rock & roll singer and songwriter Gary Clark Jr. is returning to Minnesota at the Palace Theatre this Friday. We last saw him at the Basilica Block Party in 2016.

Find out why he’s known as “The Chosen One” and why Eric Clapton personally asked Clark Jr. to tour with him on his 50th Anniversary tour.

Gary Clark Jr.’s latest Live North America 2016 came out March 17th, 2017, via Warner Bros. Records.

Fan-favorites supergroup The New Pornographers is back at First Avenue, touring in support of their new record Whiteout Conditions (Collected Works Records/Concord Records).

We caught the group in 2014 and wrote, ““This is really an amazing place to always come to… we know it’s always going to be awesome” Newman mentioned before ‘Testament to Youth in Verse’, gathering some local love, but also refused to mention another dubious city where things maybe weren’t so golden for the group.”

Duo Waxahatchee (Katie and Katherine Simonetti) to open. Their album Ivy Tripp is out now on Merge Records.
