I love They Might Be Giants. Although this was a tour in support of Nanobots (their latest album from Idlewild Recordings), I felt that this is more of a greatest hits/or "best set ever" tour…

In honor of the amazing concert They Might Be Giants put on last night at First Avenue, I wanted to show off my photo of myself with John Flansburgh and John Linnell.
Back in 2003, They Might Be Giants released Bed Bed Bed, a children's book which included a 4 song lullaby CD. Autumn of that year, TMBG held a book signing at Wild Rumpus Book store in Minneapolis.
Jumping at the chance to see TMBG, I left my kids behind and attend the book signing. Ironically, the signing was held after hours for the book store so there were few children in attendance. We adults had a great time! Both John's were very personable and entertaining, and gave us plenty of time for questions, autographs and photos.
This photo was taken on my 35mm camera because film was still a normal way of doing taking picture. Imagine.... I even had black and white film so this picture has not gone through the effects application on my iPhoto program. Who knows, maybe they will even write a song about old school, 35mm film!
