Anyway, the Whigs played a few tracks from their 2012 album, Enjoy The Company ("Staying Alive ", "Rock and Roll Forever", "Summer Heat "), and I felt the majority of their set is from their popular Mission Control album …
Folk rockers Roadkill Ghost Choir are taking their wagon across the US of A. Hailing from Deland, Florida this band got a great Americana sound of Fleet Foxes meets Wilco. Three of the band members are brothers; gotta love the classic family band! I love their EP Quiet Life, which you can currently stream on Spotify! Awesome touring partners consists of the Whigs and The Eastern Sea, plus more for the long road trip. You have to check em out y'all!

Heavy distortion rockers Whirr are making the rounds around the States. Literally in every city. They'll be making a stop in a really rad Art Gallery called The Big Top (3 Ring Circus) right of St. Charles.
I loved their third record Distressor last year, and they just released a mini LP called Around (out July 19th on Graveface Records), which is why they kicking off their tour next week, starting July 30th.
I strongly recommend seeing this band for fans of Sigur Ros, Caspian, and Raveonettes, or for anyone who likes unreal instrumentation mixed with droning vocals.
