I've been hearing this song come on the tv quite often and the only lyrics that play during the whole time it's on are "I love you" repeatedly (from the beginning of the song) and it's quite catchy. It plays during the Mercedes-Benz commercial for their Summer Love Event. It starts out with a woman lying on her car and rose petals fall down on her in an American Beauty-esque kind of way. I searched AdTunes (another search result yielded SplendAd) and found the song is called "(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons" and this particular version was by the "king of soul" Sam Cooke. It was written by Deek Watson (lyrics) and William Best (music) both of whom composed music for the 1947 film Sepia Cinderella. The song was published in 1945 and since then, has been covered by many, including the artists below:
