Ladyhawke It's no secret, I'm in love with Ladyhawke. Her song made my top 2008 list, and I was lucky enough to catch her on tour a few years ago.

WILD SUN

Rhode Island’s alt-rock trio
Wild Sun is gearing up for upcoming
Elliott Smith Tribute Album, titled
Say Yes featuring
Amanda Palmer,
Waxahatchee,
Jesu/Sun Kil Moon,
J Mascis and more.... The record will come out October 14, 2016.
Wild Sun’s singer Glenn Kendzia added, “The Elliott Smith tribute album is a huge honor to be a part of. Elliott is one of my favorite songwriters ever, and his writing is extremely influential to me in his candor and honesty. The song we covered, ‘Easy Way Out,’ is one of those songs that hit me so hard the first time I heard it, that I listened over and over to it and believed it was somehow written for exactly how I felt at the time I first heard it. I never shook that relationship with the song, and when we we’re asked to be a part of this album, that song was the one I had to do.”
Wild Sun is working on their sophomore album, taking a break to play a few festivals, including Northside Festival in Brooklyn this June and opening for The Wombats on Friday, August 12 as part of Providence’s summer concert series, sponsored by WBRU and Dunkin Donuts.
Tour dates:
May 28 Donahues - Madison, CT
