Acclaimed singer-songwriter Catie Turner will be headlining the 7th Street Entry on June 21st. She previously was here with Valley in March 2022.
Her latest song, “Hometown” is described as “about when you feel unsafe and unfamiliar in what is supposed to be the most familiar place in the world, all because of a failed relationship.” Turner continues, “The fear of them seeing you, and you seeing them, so you hide out in your bedroom. This goes out to everyone who has worn their hood up on an outing to WaWa or refused to go to Trader Joe’s because they didn’t want to run into their ex’s mom!”

I Wanna Rock! (Rock!)
Prairie Clamor, Loki's Folly, Carlisle Evans Peck, Friendly Puppy Laboratory
at Eagles #34
eagles34.org
You better believe it: Prairie Clamor, Loki's Folly, Carlisle Evans Peck, and special guests Friendly Puppy Laboratory will take the stage (one of) the hallowed halls of Eagles #34. You best make haste to be there!
7:30pm doors, 8:00pm music / 21+ / $15
Prairie Clamor writes:
Two things:
First thing: our next gig is just one week away!!! At the Eagles in south Minneapolis! With the immaculate talents of Carlisle Evans Peck and Loki’s Folly, as well as a rare appearance by our label’s in-house band FRIENDLY PUPPY LABORATORY!!!! Get out there and celebrate People’s Pride next Saturday, then come jam with us in the evening!
Second thing: You can follow my solo music / kids' music account right here: Will Sings Songs!
That’s right! For those of you who don’t know, I also write and record original kids’ music under the moniker “Will Sings Songs!” And though you, dear internet reader, are probably not a child, I’ve been told (and I do my darnedest to make it so) that my kidz songs are equally enjoyable to adult ears as they are to those of kiddos. I have one kidz album out right now, entitled “What’s a Rutabaga??” BUT I just finished recording the follow-up album, under the working title “Squirrels Run the World.” You best get hyped. AND I’m playing a boatload of kidz shows this summer across the state! Head over to Will Sings Songs and SMASH the follow to stay in the know!
Okay, that’s all!
Hanging up the phone,
Will
