Yoke Lore
with Runnner
at First Avenue
first-avenue.com
Pop/folk artist Yoke Lore (aka Adrian Galvin) will be headlining First Avenue on November 4, 2024. The artist recently officially was certified platinum by the RIAA for their song “Beige.”
“This song is about love, unfulfilled,” shares Yoke Lore. “It’s about wanting something more. But throughout its 6 or 7 year lifespan, it has become so important to so many people. It has become such a fixture of feeling within people’s lives, tied to big moments of love and loss, arresting time and space like only a song can. Beige has re-written its own story, it has fulfilled itself by incorporating itself into the drama of reality. This song started as a lament, and now it’s a celebration. It is a privilege to have added some beauty to universe.”
We caught Yoke Lore in Oct 2019 and wrote, “If you didn’t know, Adrian Galvin (his brother is actor and singer Noah Galvin), was a member of Walk the Moon and Yellerkin, before striking out on his own under the stagename Yoke Lore. Clearly, he had bigger ambition of being a musician, as well as dancer (in the dance group Boomerang), visual artist, and song writer.”
