Beach Boulevard Flea Market

As for comic books, one of my first love, I just have to stick to buying collected editions or important books. I just can’t buy any title; it has to specifically fit in my collection.
Since I’m still new to the area, I decided to check out the local Beach Boulevard Flea Market, touted as one of the largest flea market in Jacksonville. It seems like the area was previously a self-storage business (maybe it still is). Longterm sellers have storage units and opens up their doors to sell their wares. The vendors varies, from fruits, vegetables, fast food, knick-knacks, power equipment, used electronics, key cutting, clothing, knock off stuff, old video games (overpriced), and all sorts of stuff.

Then I saw Misfit Corner Comics at the flea market. This didn’t look like a standard self-storage, it looks big and it looks like a proper store. The hours are posted on the front door stating that they only open on the weekend from 10am to 5pm… but can also be open on the weekdays if you make an appointment.
To be honest, I didn’t think I would find anything, but as soon as I saw that they were selling and trying to get rid of their CGC graded comics - some as low as $20. I thought that was a good deal, even if I didn’t collect some of those titles. As it turned out there were a few comics that I collect, and after debating, I decided to buy New Teen Titans #25 for $30.
Some other books, New Teen Titans Archive #4, which I need was priced at $30. A little too much for me, but it is a fair price. The problem is all the Archive books were abandoned by DC Comics and superior printing have resurfaced in other reprints (such as the Omnibus).
I didn’t go through everything due to lack of time… but now that I’ve thought about it, I’ll probably go back tomorrow (Sunday) and spend a little more time going through the CGC books. Maybe pick up that Logan’s Run book. My original copy is in poor condition and I may have actually lost it during my move to Jacksonville.
