Their debut album came out in 2023, and their last album, City Lights came out last year. What is cool is that our Italian music partner Kalporz, from Matteo Maioli, filed a report on the Waeve’s recent headline show at Koko, in London, on March 20.
I’ll summarize, the band is Graham & Rose, joining them on stage was Joe Chilton on bass, Thomas White on drums and Charlotte Glasson on sax and violin, they played to 1,300 fans.
Opening up the show was White Magic for Lovers (duo Thomas and Alfie White) sounds like they stole their name from a Drugstore album. They covered Low’s “Lullaby” and played a song by Hope Sandoval (“Drop”).

So, you know we’re lifelong fans. It was always exciting to see Blur back in the USA, and based on excitement for The Waeve, we hope they would eventually make their way to play America soon.
These photos from Koko tells me they’ve built up a big fanbase, at least in London, and they both look great.
