Slovenian and Yugoslav music group Laibach recently shared “White Christmas.” For this special seasonal release, they have worked with fellow Slovenian artists, Silence.
“White Christmas” was originally written by Irving Berlin, a Russian-born Jewish immigrant who didn’t celebrate Christmas, for the 1942 musical, Holiday Inn. The Bing Crosby is the best-selling single ever according to Guinness World Records.

French electronic duo Kap Bambino continues their Christmas onslaught with the release of their version of Type O Negative’s “Red Water (Christmas Mourning).”

Liverpool indie rock duo, King Hannah has gotten into the holiday spirit with their own rendition of “Blue Christmas.”
The acoustic cover of the holiday classic, King Hannah strips the tune down to its emotional core, blending dreamy guitar work with delicate, atmospheric vocals.
The duo wrote, “We’ve been singing Blue Christmas together for the past couple of years, and so it felt right to celebrate our favourite time of year in the only way that we know how; singing and harmonising together. Traditionally a love song about spending Christmas alone and longing for lost loved ones, we hope that our simple arrangement of just two vocals and one 60’s Gibson acoustic guitar enhances the romance and peacefulness that this time of year brings on cold, silent winter nights.”
The original “Blue Christmas” song was written by Billy Hayes and Jay W. Johnson, but made famous by Elvis Presley.
