We saw Heynderickx in
May 2024 and wrote, “Opening the show was Haley Heynderickx, who was last seen at the Cedar Cultural Center in April 2022. She’s on stage with Bill the guitarist and Katelin on cello. Haley mentioned that they were personally asked by Belle & Sebastian to open for them, so it’s been a real honor for her to be on this tour. They seem to be enjoying themselves, and gaining plenty of new fans. They ended their set with their catchiest song “Oom Sha La La”, followed by their finale, “The Bug Collector.””
Humbird to open.

We saw Humbird in
02 Dec 2023 and said, “Humbird opened the evening as the crowd slowly ambled in. We caught them at the Fine Line exactly a month ago, opening for
Mipso. Again it was Siri Undlin on lead vocal and guitar with Pat Keen on upright bass providing some grooved solos with a “Go Pat Go!” coming from the crowd. After launching into a funky space duo in “Free Life,” Undlin said she just released a new song “Child of Violence” and it was the first time she got hate mail, which she and Keen welcomed, but wanted to hear it face-to-face, preferably at the merch table. To get into the holiday spirit they invited their friend, Clifton on fiddle, to the stage to play a “deranged” Xmas song. It was not so much psychotic as a haunting lament with loose strands of “Greensleeves” hemmed throughout.”

Indie rock/folk band,
Happy Landing, featuring lead vocals, guitarist Matty Hendley, keys Keegan Christensen, drummer Jacob Christensen, fiddler Andrew Gardner, and bassist Wilson Moyer, is touring in support of their new album
Golden… stopping by the 7th Street Entry on November 8, 2024.
The band says, “We are so proud to release our debut album, ‘Golden’. We are beyond grateful for all of the hands involved in making and releasing this record, such as Blake Mohler, Hallie Melton, Caleb Coker, Grace Blocha, and all of our families, friends and fans who have offered us unwavering support. This is a purely homemade project — every note was played and sang by us. Each song written, produced, mixed, and marketed by our small but mighty team. We are so happy to be able to share this album with our fans and we can’t wait to tour it this fall. We can’t wait to watch our family continue to grow and our music continue to reach more and more people.”
