Typical DJ shows, as soon as doors were opened, there’s music pumping, courtesy of Atlanta’s Mirror Maze. He’s also playing in Denver with Ivy Lab and has his hand in “Daydream” as a remix from Player Dave.
With DJ shows, the music never stop. After an hour, the handoff was to Los Angeles’ Lake Hills, who started working with Ivy Lab’s 20/20 global series during the lockdown. Lake then went on to working with Ivy Lab’s original Infinite Falling Ground in 2022, developing the visuals and help contributed to the album.
What’s cool about Ivy Lab’s show is that they played two sets. The main set is for their new Infinite Falling Ground P.t 2, and then they played again at 11pm, as “an encore DJ set”.
With Infinite Falling Ground P.t 2, there was an hour-long full length film, which tells a story, while Ivy Lab provided the audio soundtrack. It’s really interesting how the music can change the movie’s mood and tone. The music convey horror to excitement to dread to calm… Sometime Sabre (aka Gove Kidao) would just pause what he’s doing and just admire the film shown behind him.
After Infinite Falling Ground P.t 2 completed, San Diego’s Player Dave (aka Charles Sahmk) stepped in to keep the audience dancing into the night for Ivy Lab to finally play their encore set.
