MSI Claw x Fallout

The main standout feature of the Claw is that is using Intel’s CPU chips, vs all the other handhelds using AMD… but it’s really not enough to win me over.
However, it was just recently announced that MSI has a re-skinned Claw x Fallout variant of their MSI Claw. Of course, now I’m interested. The stupid part of my brain is screaming, shut up and take my money! … but the smart of my brain is saying no. That’s because there’s also a new version of the Claw called Claw 8 AI, which uses a new Intel Core Ultra Lunar Lake processors and a newer version of the Intel’s Arc integrated graphics. That just translate to a faster, better, larger (8 inches), and superior version to the Fallout variant (which looks to be based on the first version of the MSI Claw).
I still don’t care, I want the Fallout Claw.
With the recent announcement of the ROG Ally X and now the Claw 8 AI, can a new version of the Steam Deck and Legion Go be far behind?
Anyway, while we wait to hear more… The Summer Game Fest 2024 is currently taking place, with Day 1 already over (you can watch it on IGN).
There weren’t anything worth mentioning on the first day. The two things that stood out for me is the upcoming expansion, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. I never beat Elden Ring, but have gotten pretty far in the game… and it might be fun to re-visit the game when the DLC comes out.
The other thing at the Summer Game Fest was the president of The Wand Company showing off the new Pip-Boy and Lucy’s Backpack. Both are $200 each, but I’m trying to save money, so I’m only getting the Pip-Boy. But who knows, I’ll probably just get the backpack too.
Over at Epic Game Store, you can grab Marvel’s Midnight Sun video game for free. This game had a retail price of $60, so this is a fantastic deal, if you don’t already own it.
