My 2014 “Game of the Year” for Dragon Age: Inquisition (aka Dragon Age 3) is currently free on Epic Games Store. You might love or hate Epic Games, but you can’t deny that they are the only store that regularly gives away good, free games.
As a result of giving back to the gaming community, I have, on and off, bought games from the Epic store… so the strategy is working (at least for gamers like myself). In addition, you also earn points by buying games on Epic... points which you can redeem for more free games in the future.
If you’re into RPGs or Bioware, you probably already own Dragon Age: Inquisition, but probably haven’t re-purchased it for Epic, so this is actually a good place to start building up your Epic Games library.
Yes, of course, I already own the game on PC, PS4, Xbox, etc., but this Epic version includes the “Game of the Year” title, which means it includes all the DLC that were extras when it originally launched. So, basically you get the best version of the game.
While it’s not my favorite Dragon Age game, it’s better than Dragon Age 2, which drastically changed the PC overview fighting mechanics that people love in the first game.
Maybe it’s time to re-play this classic game to get ready for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the upcoming sequel set for early 2025.
