The iconic Blue Man Group released their first-ever holiday themed EP called Overjoy to the World, via Rhino Records.
“Jingle Bones,” the lead single, is just as you would imagine… a punk-spiked rendition of the holiday classic, arranged with BMG’s iconic “drumbone” instrument.
“Drumbone is the least efficient instrument ever invented,” says contributing director and music composer Jeff Turlik. “It’s very difficult to jump around the scale, and ‘Jingle Bells’ goes all over the place. There’s no real way to cover the tune with one drumbone. You have to see it to believe how they actually manage playing this song.”

Discovery Kids’ star Hip Hop Harry (created by Claude Brooks) released A Merry Harry Christmas, featuring “12 Days of Hip Hop Christmas” and “Jingle Bells.”

Westen has a long history, starting with San Francisco’s The Other Half in the 60s, finding C.K. Strong, and finding himself in The Balls (in London).
When not producing music, he designs album covers, notably for Steely Dan’s album, Aja.
