Los Angeles’s vocalist, songwriter and producer Miya Folick will be headlining the 7th Street Entry on September 29th. The musician have been around since 2015 with her debut EP Strange Darling. Her debut album Premonitions drew praises from NPR, GQ, Pitchfork, The FADER and many more.
Folick’s sophomore LP Roach is out now.

Los Angeles’ Jesse Jo Stark is headlining the Turf Club on September 29, in support of her debut album Doomed.
We actually really love her set from 10 Oct 2018 writing, “Los Angeles’ Jesse Jo Stark actually started their set ten minutes earlier than advertised. It’s literally unheard of with rock ‘n roll shows, but that meant a little more music from Stark. I’m glad they squeezed in a few extra songs on their set, because I couldn’t get enough of their music!
Their music sounds a bit like Angelfish (pre-Garbage), early Curve (pre-techno), and a little Mazzy Star (but not as sleepy). It’s driven by catchy muscular guitar hooks and Jesse Jo Stark’s seductive vocals. ”

Joshua Radin is headlining the Cedar Cultural Center on September 30th in support of though the world will tell me so, volume 2 (Nettwerk).
We saw Radin in Dec 2017 and wrote, “With winter just on the horizon on a chilly December mid-week evening, singer-songwriter Joshua Radin stopped into the intimate W XYZ Bar at the Aloft Hotel in downtown Minneapolis for a one-off acoustic performance as part of the chain’s semi-regular live music series. Radin and band had recently returned from a European tour and his following has always been steady in the area, so fans packed the lobby of the hotel just across from the site of this season’s Super Bowl for a generous hour-long acoustic performance as part of this free admission concert series.”
The Ballroom Thieves to open. We saw them in 13 Oct 2022 and noted, “We saw The Ballroom Thieves in May 2015, and mentioned, “The Ballroom Thieves, on their second appearance in Minneapolis (previously also billed at Byrant-Lake Bowl), was pleased to see that the room was full this time around. Drummer Devin Mauch, who is celebrating his birthday today (May 14th), said that they originally didn't have Minneapolis on their tour itinerary, but they made the extra effort to put the city back on their schedule. Thanks to word of mouth, there was a really good turn out for the show... especially on a Wednesday.””
