At the last minute, we got word that Good Night Gold Dust cancelled their appearance.
The Catalina opened the show. Their set included “Love Somebody”, which was the first song they’ve ever released. The song came out in 2020.
Moon Kissed (Leah, Emily and Khaya) started their set with “Money Mouth”… and proceeded to play every song they’ve ever written. The band is very young, but there’s a lot of potential. It’s clear that they love to be on stage, and they love the idea of seeing new cities across the United States. Based on their comments, this was their first time in Minneapolis, and they planned on coming back.
At the end of their set, inspired by a costume contest dance competition from their previous night in Iowa, they had the audience dancing. This was also when singer Leah demanded that she’ll be dancing on the 7th Street Entry’s bar top.
