Grammy-nominated, electronic artist Ford (stylized as ford.) headlined the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on Saturday, September 25th, as part of his promotional tour for his album The Color of Nothing (under the Odesza’s Foreign Family Collective label). The album originally came out in October 2020, and a remixed/reworked version called The Color of Nothing (Reprise) came out in May 2021.

ford.’s stage setup is what you would expect of a DJ setup: a laptop and some control board. Behind him were big vertical displays (with custom frames), which displays images or videos, set to sync with ford.’s music.

While that was visually cool to see, at first, the flood were too busy dancing to pay attention. Speaking of the crowd at the 7th Street, they were mostly of a younger audience, who heard ford.’s music via Spotify or some streaming services.

Reunion Island’s Nasaya, opened the show. Unfortunately, we could not cover due to prior commitments.
