THE CATALINA
with Whosah and Saint Harrison
at 7th St Entry
first-avenue.com
Minneapolis’ The Catalina will be playing the 7th Street Entry on September 15th. The band is influenced by ‘80s synth rock and loves The Police and The Night Game.
The Catalina writes:
We caught Whosah in June 2016 and wrote, “Opening up the show was Whosah, who was a very last minute addition to the bill. The five-piece (Spencer, Dallas, Dave, Mack, Nate) had a big pop sound. As we previously mentioned, they played tracks from their sophomore EP Work, including the lead single ‘Ghost Town’. Singer Spencer Grimes seemed comfortable on stage, doing high energy dance moves and singing to their upbeat music. I don’t think the band’s music can ever be described as depressing.”
