Anyway, the most interesting thing is that Cut/Copy asked New York’s Kordan to come tour with them. On a whim, Kordan agreed and as a result, their debut live performance took place over at the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis on September 16, 2008.

For a band that's never played live before, Kordan's first show at the Fine Line Cafe in Minneapolis last night (Sep 16th, 2008), was surprisingly effortless. I think at some point the bassist had to look at his written notes, but overall, they seem to have it together.
I was deeply impressed that Cut/Copy personally asked them to open up for them on the first section of their tour. Although, I will admit that I don't think Kordan sounds like Cut/Copy or the Presets... Kordan comes off as sounding more indie-rock.
The highlight of their short setlist was Deidre Muro's singing and these "Save Tibet" dudes.
Oh also, I was surprise to hear that singer, Arthur, has a very weird non-American accent (Spanish). Anyway, be sure to check out the rest of the tour:
09/19 Toronto | Sound Academy
09/20 Montreal | Club Soda
09/21 NYC | Webster Hall
