The biggest name on the list is Dave Greenfield, the keyboardist for The Stranglers. He died from Coronavirus on Sunday. The English rock band had 23 UK top 40 singles, including “Golden Brown”, “No More Heroes”, and “Peaches”.
Early Stranglers sound was driven by bass and Dave Greenfield’s keyboards, who drove the melodies in their songs.
Also, guitarist for The Spotnicks, Bob Lander has died at the age of 78. You may recall that Spotnicks’ other guitarist Bo Winberg also died in January 2020 and fellow Spotnicks’ bassist Björn Thelin passed away in Jan 2017.
All the deaths happened relatively close to each other, and it is sad to announce that there are no original surviving band members for instrumental band.

At the time of her death, she had signed a deal with Thirty Tigers label and working on a summer 2020 EP. Perhaps her EP can be released posthumously.
