Los Angeles rockers Valley Queen is releasing “Your Red Light” on 7” vinyl on May 15th. You can preorder the record on ValleyQueenMusic.com.
“Your Red Light”, backed with “Bad Astrology”, is a single collaboration with Emily Gold of Cosmo Gold and William Tyler (who’s had an impressive solo career after Silver Jews).
The song is done with electric piano and was written via text messages between Gold and Valley Queen singer Natalie Carol.
You may recall that we first heard of Valley Queen when they opened up for Laura Marling in May 2017. We wrote, “Opening up the show was Los Angeles’ Valley Queen. Watching the band, you quickly realize the bandlander Natalie Carol has a great loud and commanding vocal. Some fans compared her voice to Florence Welch (of Florence + the Machine). … They were pretty excited to talk about their latest single ‘Stars Align’, which debut on video a few weeks before their tour and they made sure we heard the song. The video described the band, “what the past year has been for us, lots of time on the road, away from our families, working on our relationships in and outside the band.” The song came from their recent EP Destroyer.”

Former One Direction singer, Niall Horan has the #1 album in the UK and Ireland for Heartbreak Weather. It’s clear that the Irish singer is doing quite well.
Horan’s latest single, “Black and White”, written by Horan with Julian Bunetta, Teddy Geiger, Alexander Izquierdo and Scott Harris. The track was produced by Bunetta and is taken from the #1 album Heartbreak Weather (Capitol Records).
Musically, “Black and White” is a pop rock ballad… fans of Ed Sheeran (the other One Direction guy) will love it.
Sample lyrics:
Crystal clear on a star lit night
In all your gorgeous colors
I promise that I'll love you for the rest of my life
Horan was recently in the news when the tabloids found out that he direct messaged Love Island’s star Arabella Chi after her recent split from Wes Nelson. Arabella was hugely flattered by Niall’s advances, but with the Coronavirus-thing, the timing is just not right.
Yeah, talk about “Heartbreak Weather”, huh ?

“Clear Blue Sky” is the first single from the debut album, Lost In The World by Hyson Green (they are the Osborne brothers, who probably took their stagename from a neighborhood in Nottingham, England). The record was years in the making, because it was written in Nottingham, London and Los Angeles, throughout the years.
The album was influenced by The Staples, Boz Scaggs, Bobby Womack, Jess Roden, Robert Palmer, and more… combining old-style with new rhythm and blues.

Clear Blue Sky is a true revelation considering how long it took to polish it.I've never heard music quite like this.It is to me an otherworldly cross between new country and outer space.I'm not talking cosmic cowboys here it's another level of lovely. You need to hear it!
