Good Dog Nigel is the stage name of 23-year old Parker Emeigh… who recently released his latest single “Strawberries”.
American Songwriter interviewed Emeigh and compared him to being influenced by The Beatles, even citing his late ‘60s fashion tastes. I guess, Strawberry Fields Forever, right?
“Strawberries” was supposed to have been released earlier in March, so Good Dog Nigel could tour to Austin, Texas, for SXSW, but unfortunately, we all know what happened due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Philadelphia-based musician Arthur (stylized as ARTHUR) recently released his single “No Tengo” (that means “Don’t Have” in Spanish) from his forthcoming album Hair of the Dog (set for release on May 15th on Honeymoon Records).
Arthur does seem to have an obsession with dogs, as his previous debut album was called Woof Woof (about being in solitude in the woods of Delaware County).

Austin, Texas-based sludge metal quartet Dining With Dogs (featuring former members of The Dead See, BLK OPS, and more) will release their debut LP, The Problem With Friends on May 15, 2020.
The Problem With Friends will be available on digital and 12” clear vinyl via Dirt City Studios.
The band is planning on performing a live show from The Lost Well on Sunday, May 17th, but given the Coronavirus pandemic, I’m not sure how they are going to do this.
