Since the show was sold out, the entire audience was packed on the dancefloor, listening to Ivey’s many stories about America through his songs. One song that he mentioned, “Paradise Alley”, was about a secret place in his travel.
Ivey’s The Dream and The Dreamer is out now on ANTI- Records.
There’s definitely big buzz for singer/songwriter Ian Noe, who released his highly anticipated debut album Between The Country on Thirty Tigers. It’s been a long road since his grand prize winning of “Appalachian Starsearch” in 2007 for his original song, “Don’t Let the Morning Bring Ya Down”.
This was Noe’s first national headline tour, so seeing as some dates are sold out is starting on a very positive note. This is mostly thanked to word of mouth recommendations, especially from one Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, on his YouTube channel: “I met Ian Noe at dinner the other night not knowing he was a musician or how incredibly talented a musician he is!! I love these spontaneous moments in life and wanted to share the love and share the music.”
