One of the biggest names in music,
Eddie Money recently died from complications from heart surgery. He was 70.
We all suspected he was going to die when it was revealed in August that he had stage 4 esophageal cancer, but to hear that he died only a month later - it’s still a bit of a shock.
Eddie Money was probably most famous for “Take Me Home Tonight”, but he also had a string of other hits, including “Baby Hold On”, “Two Tickets to Paradise”, “Shakin’”, and “I Wanna Go Back”.
Also, singer/songwriter
Daniel Johnston recently died of a heart attack at the age of 58.
You may recall that we’re big fans and wrote about him in
Sep 2009 and was scheduled to see him in person in
August 2016 … but unfortunately he had missed a connecting flight and had to cancel his concert appearance.
