According to NME, Mark Hollis, lead singer and songwriter of Talk Talk, has died at the age of 64.

Talk Talk were huge in the early 80s, thanks to their synth-pop catchy singles like “Talk Talk” and “It’s My Life” (No Doubt covered the song in 2003). After bassist Paul Webb left he band, Talk Talk signed with Polydor (from EMI), and released Laughing Stock in 1991, before finally throwing in the towel and quitting.

Also, we got a press release that Country Music Hall of Fame and Foggy Mountain Boys member Mac Wiseman has also died on February 24, at the age of 93. Wiseman was a popular bluegrass vocalist and is known for his Dot Records interpretations of songs including “Shackles and Chains,” “Jimmy Brown the Newsboy,” “I’ll Be All Smiles Tonight,” and “Love Letters in the Sand.”
