Patrick Doyle, the Scottish drummer for
Veronica Falls has died over the weekend. His death was confirmed by his solo project
Boys Forever.
It’s always tragic to hear about these deaths, especially from someone so young (Doyle was 32). We caught Veronica Falls in
March 2013 and
February 2012 touring for
Waiting for Something to Happen and
Veronica Falls, respectively.
Boys Forever statement:
We are heartbroken to confirm the death of Patrick Doyle. He was 32.
Patrick was Veronica Falls’ drummer, and made solo music as Boys Forever/Basic Plumbing. He was a dear son, brother, uncle and friend, and we loved him dearly. His family are immensely proud of all he achieved.
We’re asking for any donations to be given to the Los Angeles LGBT Center, who were an invaluable support for Patrick.
