Mark Salling (who played “Puck” from the musical television show Glee) has committed suicide by hanging. His body was discovered by police today, January 30th. Salling was 35.

According to TMZ, Salling tried to commit suicide by cutting his wrists in August. Salling’s troubles began after he was arrested for possession of child pornography and was facing four to seven years in prison.

In happier days, Salling was a talented musician, who wrote and sang his own music, under his stage name Jericho. He found fame as a regular cast member for Glee, at least for the first four seasons.
