It’s hard to believe that it was only three years ago that Halsey went out on her first tour with The Kooks in 2014. I have always known that she’s special, in fact, even writing, “I've seen a lot of bands in my time, and I have to say, keep an eye out for this one. For someone who claimed this was her very first tour.... she is completely comfortable on stage, she can work the crowd, and she knows how to use her sexuality.”
As predicted, she’s massive now. I even predicted the sex part, as she landed the front cover of Playboys’ the Music Issue (Sep/Oct 2017).
Now she’s headlining the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul this Saturday. The very large stadium is only reserve for such established acts like Bob Dylan or Madonna… so it’s simply incredible that rising star Halsey is booking the arena.
Partynextdoor and the lovely "I love it" girl Charli XCX to open.
Partynextdoor Tour dates:
11/15 Edmonton, AB Rogers Place
11/18 St. Paul, MN Xcel Energy Center
11/19 Rosemont, IL Allstate Arena
11/21 Detroit, MI Little Caesars Arena
11/22 Cleveland, OH Wolstein Center

After spending time in the Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens’ band, Annie Clark re-invented herself as St Vincent. She’s reinvented herself again with her latest Masseduction, available now on Loma Vista Recordings. Whatever she is doing, it’s certainly interesting, and fans are loving it… which explains why her forthcoming show at the Palace Theatre is sold out.
