Virgil Howe, the drummer of Little Barrie has passed away at the age of 41 on September 11th, as confirmed by their press agent. Howe was 41.
"We are heartbroken that we have lost our dear friend and brother Virgil Howe. Our thoughts are with his daughter, family and partner. Please respect their privacy during this difficult time." – Barrie Cadogan
The band was readying for a UK tour, but with the sudden passing of Howe, the band have canceled the tour. Tickets for the tour will be refunded from their point of purchase.
If you’re a Breaking Bad fan, you would have heard Little Barrie’s terrific theme song to the spin-off show Better Call Saul. In addition to the theme song, Saul also feature ‘Why Don’t You Do It’.
Also, earlier in the week Josh Schwartz (aka Painted Hills), the singer-songwriter and guitarist for John Cale and The Charlatans, as well as Further and The Summer Hits, has died after a long battle with ALS at the age of 45.
Everyone in Los Angeles who knew Josh had only amazing things to say about this young guitarist.
