I’m very sad to announce that Jessi Zazu (aka Jessi Darlins of Those Darlins) has passed away at the age of 28.

We love Jessi and the band and have probably covered them more times than any other bands (a total of 9 times!):

Obviously, we’re big fans and really heartbroken that Jessi is no longer with us.

I rarely do interviews (since 2010), but couldn’t pass this offer to talk to Jessi in 2013. You can listen by clicking on the right column, or go here. I’ll never forget that day. We had scheduled to talk at noon her time, but when I called, I think I woke her up from bed. Obviously, she’s not a morning person.
