The majority of their set were taken from their debut For You album (Nettwerk Records), but you can tell they were also working on a new album (as noted by their recent Jamaica visit and writing new songs like ‘Gotta Make Sure’ and ‘Hard to Know’.)
A couple of covers made it on their set, including John Prine’s ‘Long Monday’ and Kitty Wells’ ‘It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels’, the latter was actually not written on their setlist. Instead, they dropped off ‘For You’, which was written as the last song (and not played).
For their finale, they actually had two songs about lakes, which after a vocal vote from the audience, they closed their set with ‘Lakes of Canada’.

They had enough songs to make for a full set from their two albums States and twelvefour, and that meant no cover songs. They took out the banjo to play two songs, starting with ‘Bloom’, followed by ‘St Clarity’, both songs were incredibly well-received.
Prior to playing ‘A Silent Cause’, Bentley told this story about how he got really sick at the Winnipeg Folk Festival (which just took place July 7-10, 2016), and during their 40-min to their hotel, he threw up in his backpack!
Based on the loud responses and cheers from the crowd, you know that the Australian band will be back in time for the next tour... hopefully with a newly cleaned backpack.
