at Cedar Cultural Center
Thursday, 06/16/16, 7pm ($15/$18)

Brazil’s Rodrigo Amarante is currently in a middle of a US Summer tour, and he will be stopping by the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis next Thursday, June 16th.
We previously caught Amarante on a brief appearance with Devendra Banhart in May 2016 and he certainly had a good time: “Rodrigo Amarante (who also played in Banhart’s band and also is in Los Hermanos) was up next, and his barefoot exaggerated back and forth on stage and off stage were too comical.”
New group Hooops (led by multi-intrumentalist, songwriter, and singer Greg Rogove) will open the show.
USA Tour dates:
06/15 - The Frequency - Madison WI
06/16 - The Cedar - Minneapolis MN
07/08 - Central Park Summerstage - New York, NY

Broncho is returning to Minneapolis’ 7th Street Entry in support of their new album Double Vanity (Dine Alone Records).
We caught the punk-ish band when they stopped by the venue in 2014 and 2013 and noted that they sounded “beefier” the second time around.
Los Angeles’ Winter to open. We saw Samira Winter in October 2015 and thought they were pretty a cute/California breeze band.
