Vu and John just saw London-based Låpsley and Morly at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis.
We talked about Morly, who is based in Los Angeles, but was born/bred in Minneapolis... so she had a lot of family at the show. As for Lapsley, we talked about her comparison to Adele and what happened to “Nothing Compares 2 U,” which was omitted from the setlist.
Song of the show is Lapsley’s “Operator (He Doesn’t Call Me)”.
The rising producer, songwriter, singer is currently on tour in support of Long Way Home (XL Recording) and has sold out her entire USA tour (with the exception of DC):
