Local Blue Felix is playing the 7th Street Entry next Friday. According to the band, they haven’t touched the tiny venue in ten years... so this will be a treat for Blue Felix hardcore fans.
We previously caught the rock/metal band at the Cabooze in Jan 2016 and wrote, “Blue Felix's live shows are legendary in the Twin Cities. Everyone talks about them and I've heard nothing but amazing things.”
Green Death, Sleep Signals, and Version 5 to open.
Additional details:
Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 22nd.
Venue: 7th Street Entry - Minneapolis, MN
Date: Friday May 27th
Time: 8PM Doors

We haven't played the entry in nearly a decade. Last time it sold out. Only a couple hundred tickets will be available, so if you don't get them quick, you probably won't be getting in.

Australian singer/songwriter and actress Missy Higgins will be playing the Fine Line Music Café on Saturday, May 28th. Higgins took a break from the industry since 2014’s album Oz to devote time to her family, giving birth to her song Samuel Lee in January 2015.
As she has previously mentioned, she loved playing live:
I like being home, having my routines, looking after my garden and playing with my dog, but I also love playing. I love being able to do both ...It would seem that she’s officially back to music this year. Her latest single, ‘Oh Canada’ came out February 2016 via Eleven/Universal Music Australia.
Special guest Billy Raffoul to open.

Trashcan Sinatras is back in town, this time with a brand new album Wild Pendulum, crowd-funded and produced by Bright Eyes’ Mike Mogis.
We previously caught the Scottish band when they were known as Trash Can Sinatras at the Cedar Cultural Center in 2011 and wrote, “Going on stage fairly early, about close to ten, Trash Can Sinatras came on stage, a little nervous, but quite pleased just the same. They pretty much stuck to the setlist (see photo), with two notably great performances for "I Hung my Harp Upon the Willows" and "People" - both actually from the album, In the Music. Sure, we got huge cheers for "Weightlifting" and "Hayfever", but I thought the new songs sounded better live.”
Sophie Auster to open.
