Los Angeles rockers Tiger Army will be making a stop at the Varsity Theater on Thursday, June 16th. They are working on their first album since 2007 entitled V •••–, available now via Rise Records. Their music draws from the early '60s and modern rock making Tiger Army a truly unique band.
They just got done with a tour supporting Dropkick Murphy’s where they made a stop in Maplewood at The Myth on February 20th, 2016. They will be headlining the June show with support from The Bellfuries and The Pine Hill Haunts.

Post-hardcore Michigan’s Bear vs Shark broke up in 2005, but they’ve recently announced that they’re getting the band back together and will be releasing a limited double vinyl re-issue of their two albums Right Now, You're in the Best of Hands and Terrorhawk via Equal Vision Records.
Additionally, the band has announced they've reunited for 7 select dates that include New York's Bowery Ballroom, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, a hometown Detroit date - as well as an already sold out Flint, Michigan show.
