“The Fifth Beatle” Sir George Martin passed away, the news broke a few hours ago, according to Ringo Starr’s Twitter account, @ringostarrmusic:

God bless George Martin peace and love to Judy and his family love Ringo and Barbara George will be missed xxx 😎✌️🌟💖☮

Beatles should be familiar with Martin’s work, as he is involved with most (if not all) of the Beatles’ albums. He’s one of the greatest record producers of all time, scoring 30 #1 hits in the UK and 23 #1 in the US.
