One of Norway's most premier, underground metal bands, 1349 will be making a stop at The Triple Rock Social Club on Wednesday, January 20th, as part of their "Chaos Raids USA & Mexico 2016" tour.
They released their first album in four years last year entitled Massive Cauldron of Chaos and have been touring on that album ever since. They were here in June at the Amsterdam Bar & Hall in Saint Paul and I heard nothing but amazing things about their show. I can't wait to finally see them!
Tombs (Experimental metal from NY) and Full of Hell (Hardcore punk from MD/PA) will be opening the show.
Tour dates:
01/20/16 Minneapolis, MN Triple Rock
01/21/16 Kansas City, MO Riot Room
01/22/16 Denver, CO Roxy Theatre
01/27/16 West Hollywood, CA Roxy Theatre
02/23/16 Perth Amplifier
02/25/16 Fortitude Valley Crowbar Brisbane
02/26/16 Marrickville Factory Theatre
02/27/16 Melbourne Max Watt's

Piano & A Microphone
Gala Event
at Paisley Park
Thursday, 01/21/16, 10pm ($??)
twitter.com/Prince3EG
This is uncommon for Prince to announce his show two weeks in advance.... but he tweeted a poster of his show for January 21st, 2016.
There are no pricing announcement, but his previous shows have costed $30 to $60. I believe you have to bring cash and entry fee are classified as "donations". We all know this is so he doesn't have to report this as earning and/or tax reasons.
As with previous Paisley Park shows, you have to surrender your phone or camera at the door.
Also, Prince is notorious for starting really late (as in after midnight), so we're thinking doors at 10pm, Prince on at Midnight.
As we previously discussed, Prince's UK shows were postponed because of ticket scalpers and the recent Paris terrorist attacks. So this upcoming show, featuring just Prince and a Piano, is a taste of his canceled UK tour.
Prince is also prepping the staging area, adding carpet and gearing the stage with four front speakers. He's going all-out.
