THE POLYPHONIC SPREE

The Polyphonic Spree is one of the best live bands we've ever seen. The Dallas-based band is currently on their 15th Anniversary Tour.
We're not entirely sure how they can fit the 14+ band members on the small Fine Line Music Cafe stage... but it'll be fun to watch.

Matt Pond PA will be in town in support of his new album The State Of Gold (Doghouse Records). We actually already mentioned the tour in August 2015, but the show is coming up and we thought we'd mentioned it again.
Although we have mentioned that we didn't like the "PA" in the name, it does make the band name more distinct... unlike all the common-band names.
Opening up the show will be Laura Stevenson in support of her fourth studio album Cocksure (Don Giovanni). The last time we saw Stevenson, she was still with her band Laura Stevenson and the Cans at the Triple Rock in May 2011.
Also on the bill will be Completions, aka Shawn Alpay. The songwriter/cellist recently released a self-titled debut EP on October 9th... so expect to hear some of those tracks at this show.

You know, we've already mentioned how much we love Howard Jones. He'll be stopping by the Fine Line Music Café as part of his "The Songs, The Piano & The Stories'" tour.
No opening band listed, but with over 10 studio albums under his belt, I don't think the English singer will have trouble playing a double set... why should we mind, why should we mind?
