We previously caught the band when they headlined the Triple Rock Social Club in November 2013, and wrote they were "space rock". As with their previous appearance, the fog machine and piercing colorful lights played a huge role in creating a beautiful spacey atmosphere (see photo).

They ended their set with "And You Lied to Me", with Lasek and Goreas jamming together to an explosive end.

Reunions are special, not only do the band get back to doing what they loved, but they are also reuniting their fans to come together in one place. Personally speaking, we met and saw so many old shoegazing fans and friends. Some of these fans have not been seen at other shows... but for Ride, of course, they'll come out. Many believed that this is perhaps the last time Ride will play here. Also, plenty of local bands (who were inspired by Ride and the music they help pioneer) came out to the show - in particular Ed Ackerson (of BNLX; Polara) and Two Harbors were spotted at the show.
Right before "Dreams Burn Down", Mark Gardener noted that it's been a long time since they were in Minneapolis, playing First Avenue. Of course, there were plenty of fans in the audience from that 1992 show, so Gardener dedicated the song to those fans and First Avenue.
After two hours of solid music, the show finally ended at nearly 12:30am, to a very happy audience.
Ride's reunion tour will extend to their UK tour as Nowhere25, playing all eleven songs from the record. They confessed that due to different tuning and effects, that the set will be challenging (and not exactly sure if they can even pull it off)... but the show should "sound epic."
