Mikky Ekko Setlist

The brand new band was very, very eager to be on their very first national tour (with the Triple Rock as their first venue in Minneapolis). Based on their bright sound and love for performing live music, this band will be on the road to bigger, better things.
With only one EP under their belt, the band predictively played all the songs ("New Bohemia", "Night Vision", "Bloodstream", and set closer "Girls Your Age"), but throwing in a few unreleased tracks.

There were a few young people in the audience with homemade signs for Mikky, something you don't normally see at a smaller venue like the Triple Rock Social Club. The fans were determined to show off that they are big fans, even at one point in the show, a girl came up on stage and gave Mikky Ekko a hug. Mikky, always smiling, personally thanked Laura (the girl's name).
Mikky Ekko can be seen fist-bumping, high-fiving, singing directly to the audience ... which I feel like he has a very close relationship to his fans. He can probably tell you everyone's names, if it came to that.
This was Mikky Ekko's first headlining show, but we previously saw him open up for Broods last March 2015, and before that he was seen with Haerts in December 2014.
In a typical debut album tour, Mikky Ekko's set featured most of his Time album... saving his two biggest hit songs for the encore: "Stay", a song that he co-written with Justin Parker and Rihanna used for her 2012 album Unapologetic and "Smile". Of course, "Stay", when Mikky Ekko does it, is less flashy and heartfelt.
